It made me happy,
And seemed appropriate.
I don’t care about all the bad parts, or how it ended, or if you ever did love me.
I was stuck in those moments again, the fleeting joys I had, the one that have been important to me.
As I finished the step I had started with you, but lost you on the way, it seemed appropriate that as my foot began to plant, it was the same rain.

I sat there thinking of past joys and bygone times. Seeing through a window the rustling trees, the cars strewn about the courtyard and down upon the students saying their goodbyes.
A girl to the left, pink in her hair and tears in her eyes, grasps a close friend she has made. Two sporty types throw a rugby ball across the grass to one another. An ageing father strains with a box of books, finding relief as gravity settles it within the boot of his car.

Ive not been too bad, dealing with uni and other things. Ive got an idea for my novel pretty set now. Although Ive hardly done any writing for it or in general in a long time :S.
